BitMEX co-founder Ben Delo pledges £20 million to London Institute for Mathematical Sciences

The donation includes an upfront payment of $13.3 million, with another $13.3 million to be released after the institute matches the amount through additional fundraising. This is one of the largest private donations ever received by a UK research institution outside Oxford and Cambridge, and will be used to help the institute establish an $80 million endowment fund to secure its long-term development.
