Walmart OnePay Adds Support for USDC Stablecoin Payments

Newsflash · 2026/10/31 04:43

Techub News reports that Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire posted on the X platform expressing his pleasure to see Walmart's OnePay add support for USDC. This is a step towards the gradual promotion of USDC in global retail financial applications. Walmart's payment service OnePay now supports users sending USDC stablecoins directly to their accounts. The funds will be deposited into the user's existing checking account balance and can be used to pay bills and transfer money, without needing to convert through an exchange. (@jerallaire)
