Techub News reported, according to CoinDesk, that the cryptocurrency political action committee Fairshake is investing $1.5 million in an advertising campaign aimed at preventing Texas Democratic Representative Al Green, who holds a critical stance towards the crypto industry, from winning the primary. This expenditure was pledged by Fairshake's affiliated entity Protect Progress.

Al Green, for highlighting the potential risks of cryptocurrency and voting against crypto policy legislation, was given an "F" rating by the pro-crypto organization Stand With Crypto, while his opponent Christian Menefee received an "A" rating. The $1.5 million invested by Fairshake this time exceeds the more than $700,000 in campaign funds Al Green has raised so far. Currently, Fairshake has a reserve fund of $193 million and also announced this week that it will spend $5 million to support another pro-crypto Republican congressman, Barry Moore.
