At the beginning of the conference, Hong Kong Legislative Council member Wu Jiezhuang delivered a speech. He highlighted Hong Kong’s unique advantages in developing Deep Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN). As a huge economy and a "one country, two systems" city with an effective common law system, Hong Kong not only has huge market potential, but also occupies unique advantages in financial innovation and geographical location. Councilor Wu used the example of the Beijing football match last year to vividly demonstrate the convenience brought by the combination of blockchain technology and physical infrastructure, highlighting the important role of DePIN in breaking through physical space limitations and promoting technological development.
Next, Zhao Hanchang, project consultant of the Special Duty Team of the Financial Investigation Division of Hong Kong Customs, explained the Customs OTC policy. He said that the customs will continue to introduce OTC business within the scope of supervision and welcomes valuable opinions and suggestions from all parties. The launch of this policy aims to provide a more flexible and convenient regulatory environment for the development of new technologies such as DePIN.

In her speech, Amanda, Vice President of Web3 Labs, emphasized the mission of Web3 Labs, which is to help global Web3 companies land in Hong Kong and accelerate industry development through its service system. She believes that as a financial center, with an open legal environment and many advantages, Hong Kong is an ideal place for the Web3 industry. At the same time, Amanda also pointed out the challenges faced by Web3 companies and said that Web3Labs will actively respond to the policies of the Hong Kong SAR government and provide implementation services and technical cooperation support for Web3 companies around the world.
At the ceremony where JDI Global and Web3 Labs cooperated to launch the DePIN acceleration plan, Mr. Wang Yiming, Chairman of JDI, Mr. Huang Junlang, representative of Web3 Labs, and Mr. Kevin of CGV took the stage together. Mr. Wang Yiming emphasized three important directions in the future: home space, mobile space and applications around the human body. He believes that many DePIN projects should be built around these specific spaces to create more attractive stories and attract more people to join the DePIN ecosystem. Subsequently, UWeb President Yu Jianing released the DePIN report. In his report, he emphasized the huge transformative role of DePIN in future infrastructure construction and corrected people's misunderstanding that DePIN is just hardware mining. He believes that DePIN, as an important way of mental productivity and infrastructure construction, combines blockchain technology with industry to realize the vision of empowering entities and promoting industrial development. Principal Yu also shared his love and expectations for DePIN, and emphasized the importance of DePIN in future technological development and the rise of digital wealth.

Helium Foundation CEO abhay outlined the history of Helium and its role in the DePIN ecosystem. He pointed out that DePIN is a physical infrastructure network that uses token incentives to create markets. For wireless network providers, DePIN involves coverage creation, with token incentives guiding the process. On the demand side, tokens provide utilities that allow people to use the network. Abhayr took urban access to the Internet as an example to illustrate that DePIN solves the problem of traditional network permissions and provides convenience for mobile devices. Overall, his speech highlighted the critical role of Helium and DePIN in building wireless network infrastructure and the importance of token incentives.
In his speech, Jan, chief technology officer and cryptographer of Dfinity Foundation, emphasized the importance of decentralization, believing that this is the key to building a secure and non-single point of failure system. He mentioned that decentralized systems like the Bitcoin network have existed for many years and have never been hacked, which is the best proof of the security of decentralization.
Jan pointed out that the goal of decentralization is to build a secure system without single points of failure. He demonstrated the security of decentralized systems by making an analogy to the fact that the Bitcoin network has not been hacked for many years. He said that ICP is a distributed network built from the bottom up, owned and governed by the community, and supports artificial intelligence. Dimo co-founder Alex introduced Dimo's project in his speech: an open connected car network designed to help people make full use of their vehicles and control their own data. He emphasized the importance of cars in the field of IoT and blockchain because cars are the most expensive IoT device most people own and the scale of the automotive industry far exceeds the sum of all other devices. He also mentioned that the automotive industry currently has data silo problems, and Dimo is committed to breaking down these barriers. In addition, Alex mentioned that car-related transactions involve a lot of expenses, such as insurance, maintenance and other factors, and data can improve the efficiency of these transactions. Dimo has begun establishing vehicle identity standards and plans to record and maintain this data throughout the vehicle lifecycle, thereby increasing transparency and efficiency.

Kuleen, head of DePIN Solana, emphasized the importance of distributed infrastructure in modern society, such as the Internet, power grids, and data storage, which all operate based on distributed networks. However, these networks are expensive and complex to build, and they often become highly centralized, leading to unfairness.
He believes that DePIN is the key to solving these problems. DePIN is unique in its ability to effectively address numerous challenges faced by distributed infrastructure. Through DePIN, we can build a more fair, transparent and decentralized world.
Finally, Kuleen called on DePIN developers present to build their projects on Solana, because Solana provides an ideal environment to support the development of DePIN. Aaron, the founder of Monnchain, introduced Monnchain in his speech as a cryptocurrency-focused holding company that has been working on ambitious projects since its establishment in 2018. He emphasized that Monnchain’s core focus is games, NFTs and the open metaverse. Through community and DAO participation, Monnchain actively supports portfolio companies in strategic operations to make high-conviction investments. Aaron said that Monnchain is not only a chain, but also a complete ecosystem. He predicts that by 2024, we will witness the rise of DePIN. Tsang introduced Utility net as a new Layer1 blockchain. Utility net is based on a decentralized digital chip network. Each physical chip has a unique corresponding RWA mapping wallet on the chain. Through this innovative hybrid encryption protocol, It is possible to obtain incentives without wasting computing power, and the redundant computing power can be rented to users who really need computing power at a very cheap price.
