Techub News reports, according to BlockSec monitoring, the PancakeSwap BCE-USDT liquidity pool on the BSC chain was attacked several hours ago, resulting in a loss of approximately $679,000. The cause lies in a flawed burn mechanism of the BCE token, where the attacker deployed two malicious contracts to bypass buying and selling restrictions and triggered a burn operation within the token pool, thereby stealing about $679,000 from the BCE-USDT pool.
Techub News reports that Curve Finance tweeted that PancakeSwap copied its code without permission, which violates the relevant licensing agreement. This behavior not only involves a breach of the agreement but has also historically proven to be unwise in other respects. Curve Finance pointed out that if PancakeSwap wishes to use Stableswap while avoiding legal issues and leveraging its expertise to protect user safety, it can still contact them for authorization and collaboration.
Techub News, according to CryptoBriefing, PancakeSwap X has launched perpetual contracts for over 60 tokenized real-world assets (RWA), including US stock tokens such as Apple (AAPLx) and Nvidia (NVDAx), supporting up to 25x leverage. Users can trade directly on the BNB Chain via a cryptocurrency wallet. The platform first introduced stock perpetual contracts in August 2025, which are currently only available during US stock trading hours. Unlike holding actual stocks, these perpetual contracts do not offer dividends or voting rights, but allow users to trade using interest-bearing stablecoins as collateral. This move provides a differentiated use case for the BNB Chain.
