Techub News reports that Ethereum L2 Linea has announced a shift to the RISC-V architecture. Linea stated that each Ethereum hard fork requires a complete rewrite of the constraint module, leading the team to spend significant time combating complexity rather than advancing cutting-edge performance. RISC-V offers only 32 registers and approximately 40 instructions. For the proof system, this results in a narrower tracking scope, enabling real-time construction, and the prover can immediately begin processing proof segments. Linea indicated that more technical details will be released in the coming weeks.
Techub News, the Linea token burning mechanism is officially live. From now on, every transaction on the Linea chain will burn ETH and LINEA, reducing the token supply to implement deflation. All Gas fees on Linea are paid in ETH and collected through the fee contract. After deducting infrastructure costs, the remaining funds will be 100% burned, including 20% burned in the form of ETH and 80% converted to LINEA and burned on L1. Additionally, the token burn data tracking feature is now live.

Techhub News reports that NVIDIA has outlined three key elements for maximizing ROI in AI factories: productivity, durability, and interchangeability. Productivity refers to maximizing annual revenue potential by achieving the highest throughput per megawatt and the lowest cost per token; durability refers to NVIDIA GPUs and systems continuing to generate revenue years after shipment; interchangeability refers to their ability to run various AI and non-AI workloads, thereby broadening demand. The blog cites SemiAnalysis AgentX data, stating that NVIDIA's Vera Rubin NVL72 system achieves over 30 times higher throughput per megawatt compared to the GB300 NVL72, with up to 45 times lower cost per million tokens on the DeepSeek V4 Pro model. Additionally, NVIDIA's A100 GPUs, shipped since 2020, are still in commercial service, and CoreWeave has extended bookings for some of their units until 2029. (NVIDIA Blog)
Techub News reports that a developer has sent Bitcoin Cashu tokens through Apple's Find My network. The experiment uses a small device to package Cashu token data into Bluetooth signals by mimicking the beacon of a lost AirTag. Nearby iPhones receive these signals and relay them through Apple's Find My network, without the need for the sending device to connect to the internet. The recipient retrieves these relayed reports through their Apple account and gradually reconstructs the token. Since each signal carries only two bits of data, a typical token requires more than 1,000 broadcasts to complete the transmission. The developer warns that broadcasted tokens are public and the transmission itself is unencrypted, so it is recommended to send only very small amounts. This experiment is currently only a proof of concept and not a mature payment product. The code has been open-sourced on GitHub and runs on low-cost ESP32 development boards. (BeInCrypto)
