Linea launches a burning mechanism, Gas fees will be burned in ETH and LINEA at a 1:4 ratio

Techub News, the Linea token burning mechanism is officially live. From now on, every transaction on the Linea chain will burn ETH and LINEA, reducing the token supply to implement deflation. All Gas fees on Linea are paid in ETH and collected through the fee contract. After deducting infrastructure costs, the remaining funds will be 100% burned, including 20% burned in the form of ETH and 80% converted to LINEA and burned on L1. Additionally, the token burn data tracking feature is now live.
