River：The recent sharp fluctuations in RIVER prices are the result of a premeditated attack, and point redemption has been temporarily suspended while the mechanism is being upgraded.

Techub News: The stablecoin protocol River stated that over the past few days, the price of RIVER has experienced extremely severe volatility. This incident was not ordinary market fluctuation but a coordinated and organized attack targeting the River ecosystem and its River Points (Pts) redemption mechanism. Malicious short sellers carried out coordinated market manipulation against $RIVER through large short orders and concentrated redemption of River Points. To prevent systemic collapse, the team temporarily suspended point redemptions and executed market buybacks. After the suspension, the attackers quickly closed their short positions. The team is currently upgrading the mechanism, making data public, and will host an AMA to share follow-up plans.
