Techub News, Velvet announced a five-year token swap agreement with the Safe Foundation to strengthen economic alignment between both parties. As part of the Safe 500 million SAFE ecosystem alignment initiative, Velvet will integrate Safe’s smart account infrastructure with its self-custodial DeFi trading platform.
The collaboration enables Velvet to leverage Safe’s smart accounts to offer users portfolio management, vault creation, and programmable execution services. Velvet currently supports over 100,000 users, with cumulative trading volume exceeding $200 million, spanning multiple chains including Base, Solana, and BNB Chain.
