Techub News reported that OpenAI announced the GPT-6 Astra Ultrafast model is now available via API to eligible ChatGPT Work and Codex users. The model runs on NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, leveraging OpenAI's inference optimization for NVIDIA architecture, with token generation speeds 8 times faster than Astra Standard mode. This aims to shorten the edit-test-debug cycle for coding agents and enhance the response speed of interactive applications.
