Techub News reports that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has granted an exemptive order to the WisdomTree Treasury Money Market Digital Fund (WTGXX). This order allows investors to trade money market fund shares with dealers at a $1 price intraday, free from the end-of-day net asset value (NAV) constraint. This exemption marks the first instance of unlocking secondary market liquidity for registered tokenized fund shares, supporting 24/7 trading and instant settlement. The fund, with assets of approximately $730 million, primarily invests in U.S. Treasury securities.
