Techub News reports, according to CoinDesk, Glassnode research shows that Hyperliquid's validator cluster is located in the Tokyo region of Amazon Web Services. Traders in the Tokyo area have order round-trip times approximately 200 milliseconds faster than participants in Europe and America, allowing them to secure better queue positions and execution quality. All 24 of Hyperliquid's validators are deployed in Tokyo. The API layer is routed through AWS CloudFront, but the validators are concentrated in a single cloud region in Japan. This gives traders located near the infrastructure a significant advantage in the time-based ordering system. Research data indicates that the median round-trip time from order placement to confirmation from an AWS Tokyo node is about 884 milliseconds, with only 5 milliseconds attributed to network transmission and the remainder being server processing time; whereas from an Ashburn, Virginia node, it rises to about 1079 milliseconds.
