ZachXBT Discloses Details of Bittensor 2024 Hack Case: Suspect Identified Through NFT Wash Trading Receives White Hat Bounty

Techub News reported that ZachXBT tweeted about launching an in-depth investigation into the 2024 Bittensor (TAO) theft, successfully identifying a suspect and receiving a bounty for their white hat actions. The case involved 32 TAO holders losing over $28 million in total. By tracking on-chain transfer trails, Railgun privacy protocol flows, Avalanche bridge records, and abnormal NFT wash trading activities (such as purchasing anime NFTs at prices significantly above the floor price), ZachXBT ultimately linked the fund trail to a former employee's address.
