NEO founder Erik Zhang calls for Da Hongfei to resign, who accuses the other of "distorting the facts."

Techub News reports that Da Hongfei, co-founder of NEO, tweeted that his talks with Erik Zhang have concluded without reaching an agreement. Erik Zhang stated that his "minimum requirements"—including establishing a verifiable financial oversight mechanism, abandoning the competing project EON, and authorizing him to post on the official website and official X account—were all rejected. He therefore called for Da Hongfei to resign from the NEO ecosystem leadership.

Da Hongfei, however, claimed that Erik Zhang distorted the facts, pointing out that the other party demanded "approval for every transaction and expenditure." He stated that he had proposed releasing more transparent financial reports for NF and NGD on a quarterly basis starting this year and was willing to authorize Erik to publish news blogs on neo.org and manage the Neo account.
