Crypto.com Receives Conditional OCC Approval to Establish Foris Dax National Trust Bank

Techub News reports that Crypto.com has received conditional approval from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish Foris Dax National Trust Bank (doing business as Crypto.com National Trust Bank). The bank will serve as a federally regulated qualified custodian, providing cross-chain asset custody, staking services (including for blockchains and digital asset protocols such as Cronos), and trade settlement services. This approval does not affect the operations of Crypto.com Custody Trust Company as a qualified custodian regulated by the New Hampshire Banking Department; the application was submitted in October 2025, and the announcement date is February 23, 2026.
