Techub News reports, according to Menlo Times, AI infrastructure company Nexthop AI has completed an oversubscribed $500 million Series B funding round. This round saw participation from a16z, Lightspeed, Altimeter Capital, Battery Ventures, Emergent Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, U.S. Innovative Technology Fund (USIT), and WestBridge Capital, driving the company's valuation to approximately $4.2 billion. The funds will be used to accelerate the construction of efficient AI network infrastructure and to launch three foundational network platforms. The company currently has a team of over 300 people, focusing on the AI infrastructure field. Future plans include further expanding network platform applications to support the deployment and optimization of more AI models.
