Aethir launches DePIN cooling solution for Blackwell GPU's high power consumption

Techub News, the decentralized GPU network Aethir stated that the power consumption of a single rack of NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs ranges from 120 to 132 kilowatts, exceeding the capabilities of traditional air cooling. The network provides computing power through distributed nodes, allowing customers to avoid the high capital expenditure of liquid cooling infrastructure. Direct-to-chip cooling technology accounts for approximately 65% of the liquid cooling market, and the power consumption of the next-generation GB300 NVL72 rack will increase to 142 kilowatts. Traditional data center operators face cooling upgrade costs ranging from $500,000 to $2 million per megawatt, while the DePIN model can bypass this barrier.
