The UK FCA has selected four companies, including Revolut, to enter the stablecoin regulatory sandbox.

Techub News reports that the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has selected 4 companies from 20 applications to enter its regulatory sandbox, where they will test innovative stablecoin services in a controlled real-world environment. The selected companies include Monee Financial Technologies, ReStabilise, Revolut, and VVTX. Testing is scheduled to commence in Q1 2026, focusing on application scenarios such as stablecoin issuance, payments, wholesale settlement, and crypto trading. Matthew Long, Director of Payments and Digital Assets at the FCA, stated that this sandbox testing aims to verify the trustworthiness and security of stablecoins in payments and settlement. The test results will directly influence the formulation of the UK's final stablecoin regulatory rules later in 2026.
