Techub News reports that Bitcoin Core Project posted on X, stating that Bitcoin Core 30.0 and 30.1 may, in very rare cases, delete all wallet files on the same node during the legacy (BDB) wallet migration process. If not backed up, this could lead to loss of funds. The fix will be released with Bitcoin Core 30.2. Until then, it is not recommended to use 30.0 or 30.1 for legacy wallet migration. Apart from the migration process, other functions are unaffected, and node operation and existing wallets can be used normally.
