Blockstream acquires Numeus trading team, with former JPMorgan executive appointed as co-CIO

Techub News reports that Blockstream Capital Partners (BCP) has signed a strategic agreement to acquire the digital asset trading and investment business unit of Numeus Group. This transaction includes specific Bitcoin yield-generating trading strategies, as well as a 10-person derivatives trading team led by Chief Investment Officer Deepak Gulati. Concurrently, Deepak Gulati will assume the role of Co-Chief Investment Officer at Blockstream Capital Management. He previously served as the head of global proprietary trading at JPMorgan and founded the volatility hedge fund Argentiere Capital.
