WLFI has minted an additional 25 million USD1, with a net increase of 22 million in circulation.

Techub News reported, according to CoinDesk, World Liberty Financial (WLFI) newly minted 25 million USD1 and burned 3 million via BitGo Custody, resulting in a net increase of 22 million USD1 in circulation. It is noteworthy that the minting amount is consistent with the loan repayment amount it claimed several days ago. Previously, WLFI's borrowing of stablecoins by pledging a large number of governance tokens on the DeFi protocol Dolomite caused the platform's USD1 lending pool utilization rate to approach 100%, leading to difficulties for other depositors in making withdrawals. Currently, WLFI has not disclosed the specific reasons for this burn or the subsequent use of the newly minted tokens.
