World Liberty Financial passes the largest governance proposal in history

Techub News, according to AMBCrypto, World Liberty Financial’s largest governance proposal in history has passed with a 99.9% approval rate, with 11,537 wallets participating in the vote. The proposal involves restructuring and unlocking over 62 billion WLFI tokens, including transferring 17 billion early investor tokens to long-term vesting and restructuring over 45 billion team and founder tokens.

The proposal plans to permanently burn approximately 10% of insider-allocated tokens to reduce circulating supply, with the remaining tokens set to be gradually unlocked after a 2-year cliff period. Although the token price has rebounded from its historical low after the proposal passed, the team wallet is still distributing tokens to centralized exchanges, raising market skepticism about the sustainability of the continued upward trend.
