Techub News reports that Infrared, the Berachain ecosystem liquidity staking protocol, announced that it will issue the token IR at 16:00 Hong Kong time on December 17. Users who have participated in the Infrared points event can now check their airdrop eligibility. This airdrop will cover early community members who consistently used Infrared during the points program, users who participated in the Boyco pre-deposit event, as well as users who engaged in Discord community activities, user surveys, community events, testnet participation, and other forms of community activities. The deadline for claiming the airdrop is 08:00 on January 12, 2026.
As previously reported by Techub News, Infrared completed a $14 million Series A funding round in March this year, led by Framework Ventures.
