The Hang Seng Gold ETF intends to list on the Stock Exchange and plans to establish tokenized unlisted category fund units on Ethereum.

Techub News reported, according to Aastocks, Hang Seng Investment will issue the "Hang Seng Gold ETF", which is expected to be listed on the Stock Exchange on January 29. This ETF holds physical gold, and the related gold bars will be stored in designated vaults in Hong Kong. The report shows that this ETF also plans to establish tokenized non-listed category fund units, with HSBC serving as the tokenization agent. Initially, Ethereum is intended to be used as the primary blockchain, with potential future expansion to other public blockchains possessing equivalent security and distributed ledger technology. Such tokenized shares can only be subscribed for or redeemed through qualified distributors, and there is no secondary market trading.
