Food delivery platform DoorDash plans to offer drivers a stablecoin payment option through Tempo.

Techub News reports, according to The Information, that the American food delivery platform DoorDash is planning to partner with the emerging payment public chain Tempo, aiming to provide its platform's delivery drivers with a stablecoin payment option.

The core of this plan lies in leveraging Tempo's high-performance payment infrastructure to offer drivers a more flexible and lower-cost method for remuneration settlement. As a public chain project jointly incubated by Stripe and Paradigm, Tempo focuses on integrating traditional commercial payment scenarios with on-chain settlement. If this plan is implemented, DoorDash drivers will be able to choose to receive their delivery earnings in stablecoins (such as USDC).
