Techub News reports that Makina, a multi-chain DeFi execution engine, posted on Twitter that the funds held by the MEV builder have been returned, with a 10% bounty deducted as per the SEAL whitehat safe harbor program. This amounts to approximately 920 out of the 1,023 Ethereum received by the MEV builder, while the total exploit amount was around 1,299 Ethereum. The funds have been transferred to a dedicated recovery account. The current top priority remains the full recovery of the remaining funds. Any distribution plan and timeline for recovered funds will be announced when feasible.
