Coinbase CEO: The world economy is moving on-chain, and the platform will support all asset classes

Techub News, according to Cointelegraph, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said during the first-quarter earnings call that the global economy is moving on-chain, and the company is committed to transforming from a spot crypto platform into a trading venue that supports any asset class. Although the company's stock price has fallen over 14% this year and it has laid off about 700 employees, he remains optimistic, believing that the weak performance of spot cryptocurrency assets is only a transitional phase, and as the business diversifies, the company will enter a more stable growth trajectory.
