Stablecoin protocol River receives $8 million strategic investment from Justin Sun

Techub News reports that the stablecoin protocol River has announced receiving an $8 million strategic investment from Justin Sun to support its integration into the TRON ecosystem and the deployment of chain-abstracted stablecoin infrastructure. River stated that its satUSD will connect cross-ecosystem assets and liquidity to TRON. satUSD can be minted at a 1:1 ratio with USDT, USDD, or USD1 and can be backed by multi-chain assets. Subsequently, it will be used alongside USDT in stablecoin pools and for lending purposes within JUST DAO. The announcement stated that the integration scope will cover assets such as USDT, TRX, wBTC, BTT, JST, SUN, WIN, and NFT scenarios. It also plans to launch Smart Vault and institutional-grade Prime Vault to provide yield opportunities for stablecoins, TRX, and core ecosystem assets on TRON.
