The Marshall Islands has launched the ENRA national basic income distribution.

Techub News reports that the Marshall Islands government has launched the first round of ENRA national basic income distribution, covering all citizens. The funding source is the investment returns from the Compact Trust Fund (with a withdrawal cap of 4%). Distribution channels include checks, bank transfers, and blockchain channels. Among these, the Lomalo digital wallet is supported by Stellar and is paired with the USDM1 digital sovereign bond as the on-chain settlement vehicle. USDM1 is denominated in US dollars, redeemable at par value, and is backed 1:1 by short-term US Treasury bonds.
