Techub News reports, according to on-chain detective ZachXBT's monitoring, the attack funds from the Kelp DAO security incident have begun to move. Approximately $1.5 million of the funds have been cross-chained from the Ethereum mainnet to the Bitcoin network via the decentralized cross-chain protocol Thorchain, while another approximately $78,000 has been transferred using the privacy transfer protocol Umbra.
ZachXBT pointed out that the initial funds for the related attack addresses all originated from Tornado Cash, and the current money laundering activities show clear characteristics of cross-chain and decentralized mixing. Previous information indicated that the Kelp DAO attacker still holds approximately 75,700 Ethereum (worth about $175 million) on the Ethereum mainnet. Currently, this core portion of funds is undergoing highly active laundering and transfer processes.
