Bitcoin mining company IREN completes $2.3 billion convertible senior notes offering.

Techub News reports, according to CoinDesk, Bitcoin mining company IREN (IREN) has completed a refinancing transaction, including a $2.3 billion issuance of convertible senior notes and a $544.3 million repurchase of existing convertible notes. The newly issued bonds include: $1 billion of 0.25% coupon notes maturing in 2032; $1 billion of 1% coupon notes maturing in 2033; and a $300 million over-allotment option fully exercised to meet additional demand. Additionally, IREN executed capped call transactions to hedge against potential equity dilution from bond conversions and to provide protection with an initial strike price of $82.24 per share. The announcement stated that, apart from standard terms related to fundamental changes, the notes do not contain any investor put rights.
