Kraken launches tokenized U.S. stock perpetual contracts with up to 20x leverage

Techub News reports, according to CoinDesk, cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has officially launched its first batch of regulated tokenized stock perpetual futures contracts, available to eligible non-U.S. users in over 110 countries. The initial offerings include tokenized versions of the S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, Apple, Nvidia, Tesla, and the SPDR Gold ETF. This product is based on the xStocks tokenized stock service acquired by Kraken in December last year. The underlying xStocks tokens are fully collateralized and 1:1 backed by the underlying assets, providing a pricing anchor even if U.S. exchanges are closed. The perpetual contracts have no expiration date, support 24/7 trading and leverage of up to 20x, offering users continuous access and a capital-efficient risk management tool.
