Timefun Shuts Down Creator Token Platform, Transitions to New Crypto Social App

Timefun founder Kawz stated that the new application will completely abandon the creator token model and instead build a next-generation social platform based on encryption technology. He noted that although the team remains optimistic about the long-term potential of creator tokens, current market user activity and trading demand are significantly insufficient, making the model unsustainable for the product's development. Kawz further explained that the new social platform will be designed around "on-chain identity and social incentives," with the goal of enabling users to naturally generate on-chain assets and a reputation system through social interactions, rather than relying on speculation-driven token issuance. "We believe social interaction is the long-term main theme of crypto. The new chapter of Timefun will focus on building genuine relationships and an on-chain value network," he added. The Timefun team revealed that the new product has entered internal testing and will release a product preview and testing invitation plan in the coming weeks.
