Techub News, according to TechCrunch, OpenAI has announced the launch of a personal finance feature preview for ChatGPT Pro users. Users can connect to over 12,000 financial institution accounts via Plaid, including Schwab, Fidelity, Chase, etc., enabling spending analysis, portfolio tracking, and future financial planning.
The feature is developed based on the GPT-5.5 model. OpenAI states that over 200 million users per month already ask ChatGPT financial questions. The company acquired the team of personal finance startup Hiro a month ago to assist in development. It is currently only available to Pro users in the U.S., with plans to support Intuit in the future and expand to Plus users.
