Currently, Aptos hosts over $1.2 billion in tokenized assets, with institutions such as BlackRock and Franklin Templeton having issued products on the chain. tZERO, operating as a FINRA-member broker-dealer and an SEC-registered alternative trading system, has connected its compliance engine to the Aptos protocol standard. The chain was developed by former Meta engineers and uses the Move language. This integration makes Aptos one of tZERO's primary execution layers, providing traditional financial institutions with compliant infrastructure to reduce regulatory risk.
