Charles Hoskinson: Responds to Flare Founder's Criticism Calling His Marketing Tactics Outdated

Techub News, according to Bitcoinist, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson responded to criticism from Flare founder Hugo Philion, stating that attacking his network to gain media attention is an outdated marketing strategy, and suggested the other party try new methods such as "TikTok reaction videos." The Flare founder previously cited DeFiLlama data, claiming that its network's total value locked reached $159 million, surpassing Cardano's $132 million, despite the latter being launched in 2017 and having a first-mover advantage. Hoskinson stated that Cardano is focusing on becoming Bitcoin's DeFi layer, making Bitcoin programmable within its smart contracts so that institutions can earn Bitcoin yields.
