Open Standard's USD Stablecoin OUSD Officially Launches, Supports Multi-Chain Deployment and Integration with Mainstream Payment Platforms

Techub News reports that Open Standard has announced the official launch of its USD stablecoin, Open USD (OUSD). This stablecoin supports free minting and burning at a 1:1 exchange rate with the US dollar and will be natively deployed on Base, Ethereum, Solana, and Tempo networks. Trading is expected to begin on platforms such as Coinbase, Kraken, and Uniswap. Businesses and developers can access OUSD through Mastercard, Stripe, and Visa Stablecoin Platform. The stablecoin is issued by Bridge, a subsidiary of Stripe, with reserves held by BlackRock, Lead Bank, and BNY. Proof of reserves will be published monthly. (WuBlockchain)
