Coinbase CDP launches SQL API supporting x402 payments, $0.1 per query

Techub News reports that the Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) has officially launched an SQL API supporting x402 payments. This API enables AI agents to access indexed data from the Base network, including blocks, transactions, token transfers, and decoded events, without requiring API keys, account registration, or human intervention. Each SQL query has a fixed fee of $0.1, settled instantly on-chain via USDC. The x402 protocol simplifies the payment process: after receiving a 402 error response indicating a payment requirement, the agent can sign a USDC payment proof to directly obtain the query results.
