Bitcoin mining company Cango produced 496 bitcoins in January and sold 550 BTC

Techub News, Bitcoin mining company Cango has released its Bitcoin production and mining operations announcement for January 2026. The company produced 496.35 Bitcoins in January, a decrease from 569 in December, with the average daily output dropping from 18.35 to 16.01. The company stated that extreme cold and snowstorms in North America caused operational downtime, reducing its average operating hash rate from 43.36 EH/s to 37.02 EH/s, while the deployed hash rate remained at 50 EH/s. In January, Cango sold 550.03 Bitcoins and held 7,474.6 BTC by the end of the month. Cango CEO Paul Yu said that favorable network difficulty adjustments partially offset these challenges, and the company will selectively sell some newly mined Bitcoin to support the expansion of its inference platform and other near-term growth plans.
