Techub News reports that Trust Wallet has released an update regarding the security incident for the browser extension version v2.68. Trust Wallet stated that it has completed compensation for the first batch of eligible users, and the remaining claims are being reviewed and processed in batches. As of now, approximately 95% of claims for the affected funds have been received. Users who have not submitted their applications need to complete the submission before February 14, 2026. Trust Wallet reminds users that wallets impacted by this security incident should not continue to be used. Users are required to update to the latest version and migrate their funds immediately. Trust Wallet has launched the "Migrate assets" feature on both the browser extension and mobile app to assist with asset migration. If users continue to use the compromised wallet after receiving the notification and incur losses as a result, Trust Wallet will not provide compensation.
