Director of Science and Technology Committee of China Telecom Group: AI Security is an Accelerator for AI Large-Scale Application

Techub News reports that the director of the Science and Technology Committee of China Telecom Group stated that AI security is not the "brake pad" of AI development, but the "accelerator" of high-quality AI development. The official said that as AI enters production systems and core businesses, AI security has shifted from being an additional condition to a fundamental capability for AI to enter production systems, core businesses, and key industries. He suggested incorporating AI security into the construction of national AI fundamental capabilities, promoting the endogenous development of security capabilities, focusing on key technologies for intelligent agent security, and exploring commercial insurance to share risks such as data leaks, system interruptions, and intelligent agent misoperations.
