Techub News reports that BitMine increased its holdings by 71,524 Ethereum last week, marking the highest single-week purchase since the end of December 2025. As of April 12, BitMine holds a total of 4,874,858 Ethereum, accounting for approximately 4.04% of Ethereum's total supply; of these, 3.335 million are staked, generating an annualized return of about $212 million. The company's total market value of cryptocurrency and cash holdings is currently around $11.8 billion. BitMine Chairman Tom Lee stated that since the outbreak of the Iran conflict, Ethereum has significantly outperformed the S&P 500 and gold, proving it has become a wartime store of value asset; he also believes that driven by tokenization and AI demand, ETH is at the end of a "mini crypto winter."
