Techub News reports that the stablecoin protocol River has announced the completion of a $12 million strategic financing round. Participants in this round include TRON DAO, Justin Sun, Maelstrom, The Spartan Group, as well as Nasdaq-listed companies and institutions from the United States and Europe. The raised funds will be used to support River's expansion within both EVM and non-EVM ecosystems, including TRON, Sui, and major EVM networks, as well as the continued development of on-chain liquidity infrastructure. Furthermore, the funds will deepen stablecoin liquidity and advance the integration of satUSD in use cases such as trading, lending, staking, and yield generation. River will launch yield products for both users and institutions, including Smart Vault and Prime Vault.
As previously reported by Techub News, River announced that it had secured an $8 million strategic investment from Justin Sun to support its integration within the TRON ecosystem and the deployment of chain-abstracted stablecoin infrastructure.
