LayerZero Co-founder: The remaining STG held by the DAO has been completely burned, and STG has now been renamed to ZRO.

Techub News reports, Bryan Pellegrino, co-founder of LayerZero, posted on X stating, "All remaining STG held by the DAO has been burned. The redemption contract remains open to everyone. STG has now been renamed to ZRO."

Previously, Stargate posted on X stating that the LayerZero Foundation has officially completed the full acquisition of Stargate, including the protocol, token, and treasury. Post-acquisition, STG tokens can be exchanged for LayerZero's native token ZRO at a fixed rate (1 STG = 0.08634 ZRO), and the redemption window will remain open indefinitely.
