Three major Japanese securities firms have expressed their consideration of entering the cryptocurrency trading business.

Techub News reported, according to Japan's "Economic News", Nomura Holdings, Japan's largest securities provider managing approximately $673 billion in client assets, will have its Swiss crypto subsidiary Laser Digital conduct related business. The report stated that two other companies, Daiwa Securities Group and SMBC Nikko Securities, are also actively considering entering the cryptocurrency trading market.
