Trust Wallet CEO: Addressing the issue of inability to download extensions from the Chrome store, beware of counterfeit applications

Techub News reports that Eowync.eth, CEO of Trust Wallet, posted a reminder stating that some users may have noticed the Trust Wallet browser extension is temporarily unavailable for download on the Chrome Web Store. This is due to encountering a bug in the Chrome Web Store while publishing a new version. Google has confirmed the issue and is internally following up on the resolution. The new version of Trust Wallet adds a feature designed to help reimbursement applicants submit verification codes through the extension, which aids in better verifying the wallet ownership of affected users to distinguish them from hackers/scammers. At the same time, users should remain vigilant against any counterfeit extensions.
