Solana Foundation: Quantum Migration Plan Is Ready

Techub News, according to CryptoBriefing, the Solana Foundation stated that it has developed a post-quantum cryptography migration plan to protect network security in the event of a quantum threat. The foundation noted that the quantum threat will not materialize for several years, but the relevant technical solutions have been researched and are ready for deployment.

The core of the plan adopts the Falcon post-quantum signature scheme, independently developed by two validator teams, Anza and Firedancer. Additionally, the Blueshift quantum-resistant vault within the ecosystem, based on Winternitz signatures, has been operating for over two years to protect existing assets.
