Northeast Securities former chief economist Fu Peng appointed as chief economist of New Huo Group

Techub News reports, citing different sources from Tencent News' "First Line", that Fu Peng, former chief economist of Northeast Securities, has recently joined Hong Kong-listed company New Huo Group (1611.HK) as chief economist. New Huo Group confirmed the news to Tencent News' "First Line". After joining New Huo Group, Fu Peng will mainly be responsible for macroeconomic research and providing strategic analysis for the institutional client investments of New Huo Group. However, it is currently unclear whether he will be based in Hong Kong.

Fu Peng served as the chief economist of the research institute of Northeast Securities from 2020 until his departure on April 30, 2025.
