Techub News reports, according to crypto.news, the Solana Foundation has partnered with Google Cloud to launch Pay.sh, a stablecoin-enabled payment gateway that allows AI agents to pay for Google Cloud services and API fees on a per-request basis using stablecoins on Solana, without the need for subscriptions or accounts.
The service is built on the x402 open payment standard and the Machine Payments Protocol, supporting Google Cloud APIs such as Gemini, BigQuery, and Vertex AI, as well as over 50 community API providers. By leveraging the HTTP 402 status code for direct payments, it aims to provide AI agents with native internet payment capabilities without traditional billing processes, utilizing Solana’s low fees and fast settlement for micropayments.
