Backpack Team Members: The team has opened a witch appeal channel. After verification and cancellation, more than 50% of the points will be refunded.

Techub News reports, Claire, a member of the Backpack team, tweeted, "Regarding the issue of Sybils, none of us want to see the interests of users who have previously supported us being affected. To address this, we had an in-depth discussion yesterday with the team leader responsible for executing anti-Sybil measures. As experienced compliance personnel, in their logic, 'one person, one account' is an absolute bottom line. Under this standard, compared to other regions, more Chinese-speaking users have indeed been affected, which is also naturally due to differences in user habits. Backpack founder Armani Ferrante and the core team are preparing to immediately open an appeal channel. We will establish clear rules to protect user interests to the greatest extent: for those who have operated 3 or fewer accounts on a single device and were judged as Sybils, after manual appeal verification, more than 50% of the points will be returned. Additionally, the team will launch a special program in the coming days to conduct token buybacks in the secondary market, which will be used for targeted compensation to these eligible users."
